How SWEET it is to be a woman and LOVE chocolate! But I must say, I wasn't always a fan. Pre bakery days, when I was just a cupcake civilian, I dibbled and dabbled with chocolate cupcakes but found them to be on the dry side. So I stayed in my lane with the vanilla options. Now that I am a "Cupcake Connoisseur" by profession, I made sure to make our chocolate batter with just the right touch of moisture, without the need of soaking them with simple syrup.
The Infinity Chocolate cupcake idea was born from my son who happens to love all things...well, food! So we just let both kiddies make up their own versions of this Willie Wonka homemade goodness. We simply grabbed anything chocolate we had on our shelves and went for it! And if it wasn't already chocolate, we just made it chocolate, hence my chocolate covered BACON! Bacon makes everything great in my book! And of course, BIG POPPA had to out do us all and dust his with powdered sugar to show off!
That's what baking is in our family, lots of fun, laughs and showing off! We hope that our homemade Cake Batter brings you as much joy as it does for us.
Chocolate ganache or chocolate syrup
Any chocolate topping of your choosing
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pan with cupcakes cups. Add 1 flat scoop of your chocolate batter in each. Bake for 18-23 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean when tested. Let cool. Core a small hole in the middle and add your chocolate ganache or syrup. Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting using a frosting tip of your choosing. Now its time for the "infinity" part. You may add:
Chocolate drizzles, chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles, Oreos, chocolate candies, chocolate covered bacon, chocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate covered pretzels and anything else chocolate that will fit on your cupcakes!
Next, brace yourself because you are about to enter Chocolate Infinity and BEYOND!
